The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for providing assistance with over site in the efficient day-to-day operations of apartment communities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The duties include performing all tasks associated with the operation of properties including leasing, rent/utility collections, resident services, communicate work orders to maintenance and/or contact vendors and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies for multi-unit property in Salt Lake City. Complete administrative tasks associated with community operations, bank deposits, reconciling resident accounts and all other clerical duties. Conduct routine site inspections to ensure physical aspects of the community meet established standards regarding the grounds, curb appeal, risk management/safety requirements, cleanliness and general appearance and implements corrective measures as necessary. Certify/Re-certify LIHTC residents, prepare and inspect property for government approval. A positive attitude with a professional demeanor and commitment to the success of the team. Highly organized, detail oriented, self-directed, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office products. Experience with property management software (Yardi) preferred Affordable Housing experience is not required but would be preferred. Background check and drug testing required.
