Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to join our team. This role focuses on preparing and processing seller-side closing documents to ensure smooth and accurate real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: · Working closely with the Attorneys in the office. · Prepare and review seller-side closing documents (Warranty Deed, Bill of Sale, Closing Affidavit, etc.) in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations. · Verify accuracy of property information, payoffs, and supporting documentation. · Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and clients to obtain necessary signatures and information. · Ensure all seller documents are completed, executed, and returned in a timely manner. · Communicate with clients to answer questions and provide updates throughout the transaction. · Maintain accurate electronic files and records in accordance with company standards. · Assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies related to seller documentation before closing. · Provide support to the closing team to ensure deadlines are met and closings run smoothly. Qualifications: · Previous experience in title processing, real estate, or escrow preferred. · Familiarity with real estate contracts, title documents, and closing procedures. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines. · Excellent communication and customer service skills. · Proficiency with title/closing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities Process title documents for real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough credit analysis and review loan applications to verify information and assess risk. Collaborate with loan officers and other financial professionals to facilitate smooth loan processing. Prepare contracts and escrow documents, ensuring accuracy in all calculations and details. Utilize basic math skills for accurate financial calculations related to loans and titles. Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to title processing. Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the processing of loans or titles. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to title processing. Requirements Proven experience in loan processing or title processing within the financial services sector. Familiarity with FNMA guidelines, underwriting processes, mortgage servicing, and Fair Housing regulations is highly desirable. Previous experience as a loan officer is a plus. Strong credit analysis skills with the ability to evaluate borrower qualifications effectively. Knowledge of TILA regulations and their application in the mortgage industry. Proficient in using 10 key typing for data entry tasks with high accuracy. Basic math skills are essential for performing calculations related to loans and contracts. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike.
