MSP Sales Representative (Mid-Tier) Location: Hybrid – New York City / Long Island Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Managing Partners About Us We are a joint venture between two established Managed Service Providers (MSPs), bringing together 40+ years of combined industry experience, an existing client base, and strong vendor partnerships with leading technology providers. We deliver premium managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and strategic technology consulting for small to mid-sized businesses across the New York region. Role Overview We are seeking a Mid-Tier Sales Representative with an established professional network in the New York metro area. You will leverage those relationships while also prospecting for new opportunities. This role is ideal for a proven technology sales professional who thrives in a consultative sales environment and is motivated by aggressive commission potential. This is a hybrid role: you'll primarily work remotely, with access to drop-in office space in both New York City and Long Island. A company laptop will be provided. Key Responsibilities Prospecting & Networking – Use your existing NYC-area relationships and expand your network to generate qualified leads. Consultative Selling – Engage business owners and executives, uncover technology challenges, and position our MSP solutions as strategic business assets. Pipeline Management – Track opportunities, forecasts, and client interactions in the CRM with discipline. Client Engagement – Lead discovery meetings, solution demos, proposals, and negotiations through close. Collaboration – Partner with technical teams to craft winning proposals and ensure smooth post-sale transitions. Performance – Consistently meet and exceed quota with strong new business focus. Qualifications Experience: 3–5 years in IT/MSP sales or related B2B technology sales. Network: Must bring a strong professional network in the New York metro area. Track Record: Demonstrated success achieving or surpassing sales targets. Knowledge: Familiarity with MSP offerings (managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, networking). Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative sales ability; CRM proficiency. Mindset: Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and competitive.
