Cybersecurity Consulting Associate - Summer/Fall 2026
PwC is seeking a Cybersecurity Consulting Associate for Summer/Fall 2026. This role focuses on protecting client systems and data from cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, developing secure architectures, and delivering proactive security solutions. As a cybersecurity generalist, you will apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles to address diverse security challenges while collaborating with clients and teams.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies to protect client systems and data
Conducting vulnerability assessments to identify and prioritize security risks
Collaborating with teams to design and implement security architecture solutions
Engaging in security incident management to analyze and respond to potential threats
Supporting the management of security controls and compliance with industry regulations
Utilizing encryption technologies to safeguard sensitive information
Participating in security monitoring activities to detect and address security issues
Applying Agile methodology to enhance project management and delivery
Contributing to the development of cybersecurity policies and procedures
Assisting in regulatory response efforts to maintain compliance with privacy standards
Engaging in teamwork to support client engagements and deliver quality outcomes
What You Must Have
Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements
What Sets You Apart
Preference for one of the following fields of study: Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Business Application Programming, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Risk Management, Systems Engineering
Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
Demonstrating knowledge in encryption technologies and privacy compliance
Utilizing Agile methodology in cybersecurity projects
Engaging in security incident management and monitoring
Developing security architecture and control strategies
Participating in vulnerability assessments and regulatory responses
Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
Travel Requirements Up to 80%
