As a Staff in our Global Trade practice, you will use your experience and technical knowledge to bring value to clients and manage risks related to global trade matters. You will be a member of our Global Trade Managed Services team that assists our clients to move their freight both effectively and compliantly around the globe. Your focus will be on executing Harmonized System (HS) Classification Projects, driving Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and solicitation initiatives, and conducting rigorous audits of customs brokers and third-party providers to uphold the highest standards of trade compliance. You will research customs and international trade issues and perform customs compliance work for our clients. Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, international relations or a related trade operations management field Approximately 2 or more years of related work experience in industry or a professional services firm Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite An analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and robust critical thinking capabilities A collaborative spirit and a dedication to contributing positively to team dynamics Industry-specific certifications or licenses are viewed favorably Experience with Fortune 500 companies or major importers/exporters is a plus Excellent organizational skills, strong motivation, and a positive attitude Proficiency in a technology-enabled environment Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment Ideal/Preferred Qualifications

Process, document, and oversee FTA documentation requests with precision and efficiency Accurately classify products under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Proactively communicate with suppliers, clients, and third-party providers to ensure seamless exchange of FTA documentation and classification information Perform meticulous reviews of trade documentation to ensure adherence to Customs Regulations and create audit trails for classification methodologies Provide support for daily FTA and classification inquiries, navigating and resolving import-related complexities Develop and interpret KPIs, prepare quarterly business review reports, and manage ad hoc data inquiries Identify and advocate for process improvements and operational efficiencies Research customs and international trade issues and advise clients on compliance and potential duty-savings strategies Maintain understanding of customs compliance regulations and best practices CCS or Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification is a plus What We Look For
