Must-Have Requirements

15+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, warehousing, and transportation management

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS systems, and ERP systems

Experience managing P&L, staffing, and warehouse KPIs

Familiarity with DOT HAZMAT, OSHA, HAZWOPER compliance

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership : Oversee full warehouse operations and ensure adherence to SOPs, KPIs, and safety standards. Ensure inventory control accuracy and maintain food-safe storage standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, Finance, and Engineering. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all workplace safety policies.

Team Management & Development : Manage warehouse staff including supervisors, team leads, and operations managers. Lead succession planning, performance management, and talent development. Promote open communication and team engagement through regular meetings.

Business Strategy & Client Relations : Partner with VP of Business Development to grow revenue and client base. Maintain and grow key customer relationships. Provide detailed monthly P&L commentary and ensure accurate billing.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Control : Identify and implement process improvement initiatives. Drive operational excellence and cost reduction. Track and report on KPIs and performance metrics to leadership.

Nice to have

Master’s degree preferred

Certifications in LSSGB or LSSYB are a plus

Certifications Preferred: DOT HAZMAT, OSHA, HAZWOPER
