The Senior Director of FP&A will report to the CFO and will be responsible for developing financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across Arrowstreet Capital. This role requires strong financial modeling and analysis skills to support informed business decisions. Key Responsibilities
Drive forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning processes. Analyze revenues, effective rates, performance-based fee scenarios, and client account profitability. Optimize allocation of investment capacity. Extract insights from datasets and leverage financial analytics to predict trends. Perform cost-benefit analysis for strategic capital investment decisions. Report and analyze key performance indicators, benchmarking to industry data. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership. Assist in preparing presentations with thoughtful analysis and action items. Create financial models including what-if scenario analyses. Support ad-hoc analyses and projects. Contribute to Finance team’s automation initiatives. Identify process improvement and efficiency opportunities. Qualifications
Relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) or MBA; degree in Math/Statistics is a plus. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 10+ years of FP&A and related work experience in Asset Management, specifically Quantitative Investing. Strong analytic skills and a track record of managing organizations in fast-paced environments. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Expertise in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP, FP&A, Excel). Ability to understand complex business drivers and communicate insights effectively. Outstanding interpersonal skills with experience in cross-collaborative relationships. Strategic mindset with a track record of driving financial performance.
