As part of the Enterprise AI and Machine Learning Product organization, you will contribute to shaping platforms and tools used by engineers, data scientists, and analysts to make decisions, manage risk, detect fraud, and deliver intelligent, personalized experiences. We are seeking a senior Product Manager to join the Enterprise Model Platform (EMP) team to drive the strategy for EMP Pipelines. EMP Pipelines enables hundreds of developers to orchestrate scalable, portable pipelines that can build and train AI models. This role helps unlock AI power to create real-time, data-driven experiences for millions of customers. About the Role

The senior product manager will oversee the orchestration engine of EMP Training. EMP Pipelines, powered by Kubeflow Pipelines, supports training and tuning ML models used in fraud detection, credit risk, and financial loss forecasting. This role will be the primary advocate for users, translating feedback and market opportunities into a roadmap that drives efficiency and innovation. The Pipelines product is growing to support model development with sensitive data and internally developed large language models. The role requires navigating enterprise platform complexities and demanding customers to deliver cutting-edge AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Championing the User: Represent user needs, drive UX improvements, and own the user journey from onboarding to progression. Driving Platform Excellence: Improve platform efficiency with analytics dashboards, manage intake requests, and collaborate on compliance and modernization efforts. Strategic Execution: Shape a roadmap centered on the user experience, governance, and integration with the product ecosystem, while advancing new AI-driven capabilities. The Ideal Candidate

You enjoy simplifying complex processes and can discuss technical details of how systems connect and deploy. You are a strong communicator, effective with both technical teams and senior leadership, and you stay current with tools and trends in data, ML, and AI. Basic Qualifications: At least 5 years of Product Management experience Currently has or is obtaining one of the following with start date by scheduled start: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading product management for enterprise platforms, MLOps, data science, or internal developer tools Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes) Industry certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, SAFe Product Management, AWS Security, etc.) Experience translating business strategy into consumer-facing digital products Note: Capital One will not sponsor employment authorization for this position at this time. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Location-specific ranges: Cambridge, MA: $193,000 - $220,300 Chicago, IL: $175,500 - $200,300 McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 New York, NY: $210,500 - $240,300 Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 San Francisco, CA: $210,500 - $240,300 Candidates hired in other locations will receive the pay range for that location. This role is eligible for performance-based incentives (cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives). Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package.
