The General Store Manager (GM) is responsible for the management of the ongoing day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Company policies and procedures; direct supervision of staff; maximizing store profits and ensuring a high level of customer services and store appearance. Maximize store profitability by managing controllable expenses, optimizing revenue streams, and leading a high-performing team. Ensure guest and associate satisfaction, exceed brand standards, and manage the store’s profitability. Select, develop, and lead a highly engaged team; foster a positive shopping experience for all guests. Respond to guest complaints or inquiries; solicit guest feedback and develop plans to meet guest expectations. Staff the store to cover 24/7 business demands; identify hiring needs and allocate resources effectively. Delegate work, manage time through efficient scheduling and labor usage. Oversee management training and ensure proficiency and safety in skills. Create an inclusive store atmosphere and foster mutual understanding and respect within the team. Provide direction, coaching, and development opportunities; participate in hiring decisions and performance appraisals. Maintain safety, service, and operational efficiency by adhering to policies and programs; manage safety programs and ensure compliance. Lead change initiatives and ensure programs are executed and sustained. Meet or exceed key performance targets; manage budgets and profitability; monitor store financial performance. Monitor cash handling and inventory; assist investigations into shortages/overages and inventory variations. Analyze income statements and reports to maximize profitability and manage inventory, costs, and waste; manage cash procedures. Build relationships with community partners to connect the store with its community. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Must be available to work flexible hours including day, night, weekends, and/or holidays. Leadership experience in fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment preferred. Experience selecting, training, and managing staff; experience with labor allocation and scheduling. Experience coaching and developing team members; strong leadership skills. Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs/ladder and lift up to 25 lbs. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Applicants must be at least 18 years old; 1-2 years of supervisory experience; High School Diploma or Equivalent. Benefits and Perks
