KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. Responsibilities
Deliver and manage a team focused on assisting clients through corporate transaction events (merger and acquisition, divestiture, IPO) from a tax and operational perspective on employee reward, including identifying and analyzing tax and operational matters contributing to tax exposure, drafting technical memorandums, mapping and designing post-transaction operational processes and compliance, executive and employee communications, post-transaction integration of compensation, benefits and share-based compensation programs worldwide; perform these responsibilities outside deal context as needed Cultivate and maintain senior-level client relationships; advise on technical, compliance and operational matters with accountability for quality service delivery Lead engagement teams on daily engagement service delivery and operations to ensure effective and efficient delivery of compliance and consulting services Manage quality, risk and financial performance of engagements, including team assignments, timely billing, collections and budget Collaborate and present to external/internal clients and perform business development activities cross-functionally, including participation in firm events Coach and mentor other tax professionals; responsible for the development and motivation of the engagement team Qualifications
Minimum seven years of recent experience in employer benefit strategies; preferred experience in at least three of: total rewards and benefits, global compensation and equity sourcing and taxation, domestic/global employment tax compliance and consulting, M&A advisory, executive compensation and compensation integration, mobility tax compliance and consulting, corporate taxation, ASC 718/ASC 740, share-based compensation delivery and data analytics Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field; Law degree is a plus Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM or completion of one or more advanced degrees or designations (e.g., MBA, CCP, CEBS, GPHR, SPHR, PHR, etc.) from KPMG's approved credential list; if not possessed at hire, must obtain within one year Strong project management skills with experience leading multiple large, complex, multi-national client engagements and service teams; ability to prioritize projects and develop client relationships Ability to reimagine and convey innovative ideas in people, process and technology to meet client needs; flexible and adaptable to change Excellent advisory, analytical, and communication skills with attention to quality and results KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
