Overview JLL is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager for a client, a premier financial institution, to support retail branch locations in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC area. The ideal candidate resides in Arlington, VA for centralized portfolio management. The Senior Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for assigned sites and will provide leadership to service providers in a Retail environment. This role ensures service delivery to the standards described in the Service Level Agreements and measured by KPIs, and works with the Regional Manager and Corporate Real Estate team to deliver quality facility management services, in compliance with local, state and federal requirements. The role manages all line of business and third-party relationships for the assigned buildings.
What this job involves Responsibilities include managing facilities across the portfolio and coordinating with client representatives, third-party owners and vendors to ensure contract and lease compliance, reporting, and tenant relations; implementing standard processes and policies; ensuring compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and applicable laws; maintaining positive relationships with Client Branch Managers and Operations teams; and supporting regional inspections and budgets.
Responsibilities
Maintain interface with third party owners (Landlords), ensuring lease compliance, reporting, and resolving tenant relations issues
Provide facility services in accordance with account standards, policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations related to operating facilities
Develop and maintain positive relationships with Client Branch Managers and Operations teams
Interface with client representatives; determine client expectations and ensure delivery of services and client satisfaction
Oversee multiple facilities across the region (Northern Virginia and Washington DC area)
Inspect buildings to ensure high quality of building services
Conduct monthly onsite facilities inspections for the portfolio (approximately 50 - 60 retail sites) including annual capital planning condition assessments
Assist Regional Manager with regional inspections as needed
Manage third-party contractors/vendors for operating and maintaining properties
Supervise vendor performance during regular and off hours including weekends when necessary
Support Regional Manager to bid and contract for operational maintenance and project services
Portfolio realignment may be needed based on client expansion
Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets with client goals; track variances and recovery
Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants

Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Proven track record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data

Estimated compensation for this position:
110,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate; final compensation depends on candidate qualifications, location, market conditions and internal considerations.
