Vice President of Human Resources

Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative human capital initiatives that drive organizational growth and success. Serve as a strategic partner in shaping corporate plans and programs, ensuring people strategies align with business objectives, and actively contribute as a member of the executive leadership team. Assess and advise on long-term planning, new programs, and regulatory changes, with a focus on their impact on talent attraction, engagement, development, and retention. Translate business strategies into actionable HR plans that support both immediate and long-term organizational needs. Oversee the HR budget and key financial metrics, ensuring resources are effectively managed and aligned with strategic priorities. Develop forward-thinking staffing strategies to identify, attract, and retain top talent. Design and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs that reward performance, inspire engagement, and strengthen retention. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that foster an environment where employees from all backgrounds can thrive and contribute fully. Create workforce planning models to identify skill gaps and implement succession planning, leadership development, and training programs that prepare employees for future growth. Provide strategic guidance on labor and employee relations, building credibility as a trusted advisor, listener, and problem-solver across the organization. Enhance and enforce HR policies and systems, including human resource information systems (HRIS), to deliver critical insights and improve organizational effectiveness. Oversee additional HR functions, including relocation, employee communications, workplace safety, health, and community relations, to ensure a comprehensive and supportive employee experience. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred. HR certification preferred. 12+ years of human resources leadership experience with a combination of both strategic and operational Human Resource experience Industrial or manufacturing industry experience preferred. Experience operating in both union and non-union environments. Demonstrated ability to implement training and personal development programs.
