The Program Manager – Plan Plus is responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing programs designed to improve health plan quality performance, regulatory compliance, and patient outcomes. This role oversees initiatives related to HEDIS, STAR, and other quality measures, ensuring strong collaboration between health plans, providers, and internal Curant Health teams. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Plan Plus initiatives, driving strategic execution, monitoring performance, and ensuring programs deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Plan Plus programs supporting HEDIS, STAR, and quality initiatives. Collaborate with health plans, provider partners, and internal stakeholders to identify care gaps and develop interventions to improve quality performance. Manage program timelines, deliverables, and reporting, ensuring compliance with CMS, NCQA, and other regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze quality metrics, preparing actionable reports for leadership and plan partners. Coordinate with provider relations teams to enhance provider engagement, documentation, and performance. Oversee member outreach and engagement activities, supporting improved health outcomes and preventive care compliance. Serve as a subject matter expert for quality improvement processes, providing education and guidance to partners and internal teams. Ensure seamless execution of projects by applying strong program management methodologies (Agile, Lean, or traditional). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (Master's preferred). 5+ years of experience in program or project management within healthcare, health plans, or provider systems. Strong knowledge of HEDIS, STAR, NCQA, and CMS quality requirements. Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional programs and achieving measurable results. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on clinical, claims, and operational data. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
