We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashiers to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions accurately. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive shopping experience, and you will be responsible for managing the cash register and assisting customers with their purchases. Duties Operate the cash register and process customer transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Assist with upselling products to enhance the customer's shopping experience. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies. Process returns and exchanges according to store policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels at the register area. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience. Experience in retail sales is preferred, along with knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction handling. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Ability to supervise junior staff members when necessary. Skills in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities.
