Real Estate Litigation Paralegal w/ Public REIT

Real Estate Litigation Paralegal – In-House | Hybrid | Los Angeles, CA A leading national public REIT is seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Paralegal to support its busy in-house legal team. This full-time hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with four days in-office and one remote. Key Responsibilities: Draft default, demand, termination, and relocation notices; manage lease enforcement communications. Resolve tenant disputes and AR issues through direct correspondence and legal coordination. Conduct lease due diligence on leases involving rights, restrictions, and remedies including co-tenancy and CAM provisions. Support litigation and collections, including unlawful detainer actions and bankruptcy matters. Respond to subpoenas, manage legal holds, and assist with e-discovery. Negotiate settlements and monitor lien and foreclosure resolutions. Collaborate with internal departments to assess legal risks and resolve disputes. Maintain legal support across departments and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate required. Significant experience in real estate law, preferably in litigation or landlord/tenant matters. Proficiency in MS Office, iManage, Excel, and redlining tools. Ability to perform all core job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 base + bonus eligibility Includes excellent benefits, paid time off, and hybrid flexibility.
