Line Cook

Spiros Taverna of Jensen Beach is looking to hire line cooks for this upcoming season. We are a fast casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. We are looking for individuals who are hard working, motivated, and willing to grow their skills. This is a quickly growing brand with plenty of opportunities to grow within the company. We are willing to train the right applicants who do not have line cook experience. Skills and Qualifications Professional and responsible conduct Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Teamwork skills Punctual Good verbal communication skills Organizational skills Duties and Responsibilities Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes and executing the dishes correcly in a timely manner. Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant's menu Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines ServSafe certificate is prefered.
