Source One is a consulting services company and we're currently looking for a UKG Pro Consultant to work remotely for our direct client, a leading North American insurance brokerage company.
Responsibilities: The UKG Pro SME is responsible for providing expert-level knowledge, guidance, and support for the UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing operation of the UKG Pro platform across the organization. The SME collaborates with HR, payroll, IT, and other business stakeholders to analyze needs, configure system modules, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for UKG Pro across various modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management).
Lead or support UKG Pro implementation, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
Configure system settings and business rules based on organizational needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate HR and payroll processes using UKG Pro tools.
Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and system SOPs.
Analyze and resolve complex system issues and support end-user troubleshooting.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls and regulations.
Generate and analyze reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools within UKG Pro.
Act as liaison between internal users and UKG support or third-party vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
UKG Pro certification is required
Proven experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro), including configuration and system administration
Strong understanding of HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping processes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, BI)
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to effectively translate business needs into technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with integrations (e.g., APIs, SFTP, middleware)
Background in HR, Payroll, or IT systems management
