We are looking for someone with grit, hustle and the attention to detail to lead our electrical estimation efforts. Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing electrical plans, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting the bid and proposal process for a wide range of electrical projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, labor rates, and construction methods. Key Responsibilities: Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop detailed cost estimates for electrical work. Conduct take-offs from drawings and plans to determine materials, labor, and time requirements. Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare and present detailed bid packages and cost proposals to management and clients. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other estimators to develop bid strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, labor rates, and industry trends. Review post-project costs and actuals to refine estimating processes. Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews when appropriate. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed to assess project scope and conditions. Qualifications: Proven experience (3–5 years minimum) as an Electrical Estimator in commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential construction. Proficiency with estimating software (such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar). Strong knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). Licensed electrician (journeyman or master) or equivalent field experience (a plus but not required). OSHA certification or familiarity with construction safety standards is beneficial.
