Role::Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer – Automation & Functional Testing Location: Hoboken, NJ - working in 3 to 4 days a week at client offices NEED 10+ YRS OF EXP CANDIATES EduTech Domain is Mandatory ONLY W2 CANDIDATES We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer with a strong background in functional and automation testing to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience with Selenium and API testing tools like Postman, along with a deep understanding of quality engineering best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium for functional and regression testing. Collaborate with product managers to define clear and testable acceptance criteria for user stories. Perform exploratory and manual testing of complex application flows to ensure functional accuracy and a seamless user experience. Develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases across multiple test levels. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster and more reliable releases. Document and manage bugs effectively; work closely with developers to drive resolution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and promote a quality-first culture. Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium-based automation frameworks. Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools. Solid understanding of QE methodologies, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within sprint cycles. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: Experience with Playwright for modern UI automation. Exposure to cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of accessibility and security testing. Experience testing large-scale or complex web applications.
