Structural Steel Fabricator

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Fabricator/Erector Project Manager to lead and coordinate both shop fabrication and field erection projects. This role requires the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, manage workflows, oversee budgets, and ensure that all projects meet quality, safety, and scheduling standards. Occasional travel to job sites will be required for project oversight. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate shop fabrication and field erection operations. Read, understand, and manage architectural and structural drawings. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and quality control requirements. Manage project budgets, RFIs, change orders, submittals, and documentation. Lead negotiations and assist with dispute resolution when necessary. Maintain high levels of productivity, quality, customer service, and safety. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and shop/field teams. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful project completion. Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience managing shop and field operations in structural steel. Strong knowledge of structural steel codes, standards, and quality control practices. Proficiency with Adobe PDF, Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
