La Mision Child Care and Kid Kamp seeking a highly qualified and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to prepare young children for the transition to kindergarten and promote their overall growth and development. Join our team and contribute to shaping the minds of the future generation Responsibilities: Develop and implement a creative and tailored curriculum to engage and educate young children. Utilize a diverse range of teaching techniques, such as storytelling, educational play, and media, to foster learning and skill development. Observe and assess each child's progress, providing guidance and support to enhance their social competencies and self-esteem. Encourage interactive and cooperative behaviors among children while assisting in conflict resolution when necessary. Cultivate artistic and practical abilities through a thoughtfully designed curriculum, incorporating activities like shape identification, number recognition, crafts, and more. Ensure the safety and well-being of children by organizing nap and snack hours and maintaining constant supervision. Monitor and track children's progress, regularly communicating with parents to share updates and insights into their child's development. Foster effective collaboration with fellow educators to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Stay updated on the latest child development principles, early childhood educational methods, and safety guidelines. Requirements: Proven experience as an Early Childhood Teacher is REQUIRED. Proven experience with Texas Rising Star (TRS) is REQUIRED CDA (Child Development Associate) certification is preferred. Must be able to pass the Texas State Background Check. In-depth understanding of child development principles and effective early childhood educational methodologies. Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for maintaining a classroom environment. Excellent communication and instructional skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to mediate and facilitate positive interactions among children. Friendly, reliable, and cool-tempered demeanor. Creative mindset with practical acumen. Certification in child CPR is a plus. Note: Salary is dependent on experience.
