Job Overview
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Laborer to join our team. In this role, you'll help keep our campus looking its best through a variety of tasks, including mowing, landscaping, trash removal, light cleaning, and setting up for events. You'll also operate equipment such as mowers, blowers, golf carts, and power scrubbers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work, staying active, and seeing the direct results of their efforts every day. Responsibilities Maintain campus grounds by mowing turf, pruning, edging, mulching, watering, and planting trees, shrubs, and flowers Remove leaves, litter, and trash from campus areas, parking lots, garages, and outbuildings Operate a variety of landscaping and maintenance equipment, including mowers, blowers, golf carts, scrubbers, and utility vehicles Assist with campus set-ups by moving and assembling furniture and equipment for daily operations and special events Prep athletic fields, including dragging, raking, seeding, fertilizing, and aeration Transport materials and supplies using utility vehicles, box trucks, or dump trucks as needed Perform light custodial work such as cleaning entrances, vacuuming garage lobbies, and picking up debris Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently Requirements Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, etc.) Physically able to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) Basic knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and/or custodial practices a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for operating vehicles Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Hershey, PA Required) Work Location: In person
