Marine Service Technician

Marine Service Technician Location: Wakefield, RI, 02879 Job Description: A Marine Service Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of boats and other watercraft. They work on engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components to ensure that boats are in good working order. The Marine Service Technician will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, ordering parts, and completing repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on boats and other watercraft Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components Order parts and supplies as needed Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner Ensure that boats are in compliance with safety regulations Communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs Maintain a clean and organized work area Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the marine industry Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience in marine repair and maintenance Knowledge of engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions
