Job Description We are looking for an experienced and dependable Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, schools, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality service. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, VRFs, VAV systems, DOAS, and ductwork Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems according to manufacturer standards and company procedures Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs Monitor and calibrate thermostats and controls Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals Ensure all work complies with local codes, OSHA standards, and company policies Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and hours worked Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours work, as required Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding work performed and equipment status Maintain cleanliness and safety on job sites and company vehicles Requirements Technical training or HVAC certification EPA 608 Certification required, Universal Certification preferred 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service, installation, or maintenance Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment used in the HVAC trade Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Plumbing and Electricity Experience with building automation systems (BAS) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Familiarity with energy efficiency systems and green technologies
