Cemetery Maintenance Worker

CEMETERY MAINTENANCE WORKER Zanesville Memorial Park, in Zanesville, OH is accepting applications to add a team member to our crew. As a cemetery maintenance worker on our team, you will take on the important job of maintaining the overall appearance of our cemeteries. The person in this position will travel between Zanesville Memorial Park, Guernsey County Memory Gardens, Clinton County Memory Gardens and Resthaven Memory Gardens. This position is responsible for the care, maintenance and repairs of the properties, as well as for the safety and security of the employees and visitors of the locations. This position requires someone who can operate and service mechanical maintenance equipment (backhoe, tracker, Kubota, dumpcart, jackhammer, lawnmowers, etc.), with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 65 lbs., to read maps/diagrams and to work in various weather conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to: Performing all landscape maintenance duties, such as lawn mowing, weed whacking, debris cleanup, etc. Conducting interments Installing memorials Operating and maintaining equipment Observing safety rules All functions related to funeral services Performing other duties as assigned by the foreman Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
