Property Maintenance Technician

R&R Realty Management, LLC is looking for an additional Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. Located in Northbridge, MA. We maintain residential and commercial buildings across the south central Massachusetts. We do remodeling, repair and property maintenance. You should have your own tools and be willing to do or learn any job. You will be on call designated nights throughout a month on a rotating basis. The job can include post- tenant clean up, siding repair, drywall repair; cabinet, flooring and window installation; painting, finish work, minor repairs, snow removal and more. Full time work for energetic individual. Minimum 3 years experience or Trade school. Person with an unrestricted Construction Supervisor license will be compensated appropriately. Company vehicle may be provided. Responsibilities Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, outlets and switches etc.) Apartment turnarounds and remodeling Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Replacement of siding or trim Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Snow Removal Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or construction experience is desired Job Type: Full-time Pay: $ $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: Multiple locations
