Role Overview
As a Lead Residential Electrician at iSolar, you will:
Lead and Manage Projects: Oversee residential and commercial electrical projects, ensuring timely and quality completion.
Install and Upgrade Systems: Handle installations of EV chargers, solar panels, battery storage systems, and perform panel/service upgrades.
Ensure Compliance: Conduct and host jurisdictional electrical inspections, ensuring all work meets NEC 2023 standards.
Team Leadership: Train and mentor apprentice electricians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their needs and identifying additional opportunities to enhance their electrical systems.
Coordinate with Utilities: Work collaboratively with utility companies and inspectors to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
Licensed Journeyman: Minimum of 2 years as a licensed journeyman electrician.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage inventory, prepare for upcoming jobs, and maintain project documentation.
Punctuality: Reliable and timely attendance for all scheduled jobs and service calls.
Team Player: Ability to work well with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Customer Service: Dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute electrical installations on construction sites.
Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites while demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in both commercial and industrial settings.
