Our Managing Partners sustain and grow Gartner Consulting’s client relationships. You will advise clients on big-picture and tactical matters, illustrating how technology enables a broad range of business outcomes. You will collaborate with Expert Partners and others to bring the best solutions to clients. Lead and grow a defined portfolio of Gartner clients in the public sector utilities space (state and local government) Provide strategic advisory support and hands-on project guidance aligned to client priorities Leverage Gartner frameworks and methodologies to solve client challenges Inspire and manage teams; balance multiple client priorities; deliver measurable results Engage in both delivery and sales activities to drive client value and revenue growth Travel to client sites as required What you’ll need
Experience within a well-regarded management consultancy in project delivery and sales supporting public sector utilities clients Track record of leading people and building high-performing teams leveraging technology to meet public sector priorities Experience working with state and local government clients Expertise within public sector utilities aligned to state and local clients Experience working with multiple IT solutions Ability to inspire professionals from technical and non-technical backgrounds toward common goals Commitment to team success with constructive action when needed Intellectual curiosity and ability to adapt Gartner frameworks to client challenges Hands-on ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously MBA or other advanced degree preferred Who you are
Comfortable selling to, influencing, and building trust-based relationships with senior executives Coachable and open to best practices and feedback Consistently high achiever with perseverance, humility and a positive outlook Proven track record in achieving revenue targets Ability to travel to client sites as necessary Associates are expected to travel to client sites and meetings as required by business needs or engagement requirements. Gartner offers competitive compensation and world-class benefits. In our hybrid environment, we support flexible work while enabling collaboration in person when needed. Base salary range for this role is 184,000 USD – 248,000 USD, with potential bonuses and incentives as described in the opportunity provided to eligible candidates. We offer PTO, a 401k match, stock purchase options, and additional benefits.
