Staff Data Scientist
to join their team. In this role, you will bring deep technical rigor to how data is analyzed, tested, and applied across the business. You’ll design and interpret experiments, apply advanced statistical methods, and build scalable analytical frameworks that directly inform product strategy and company performance. This is a senior-level opportunity to work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams, establish robust measurement practices, and uncover insights that shape the company’s trajectory. Responsibilities
Conduct advanced analyses on user behavior, product performance, and business outcomes to surface actionable insights. Enhance and extend data models, metrics, and dashboards to enable consistent, scalable reporting. Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to measure product changes and customer experience. Partner with Product and Engineering to embed experimentation and measurement best practices. Build and improve the company’s data stack, ensuring scalable models, pipelines, and tools for self-serve analytics. Communicate findings clearly and persuasively to executives and stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions. Evaluate and interpret machine learning models (classification, recommendation, LLM-based systems), analyzing trade-offs and business implications. Drive experimentation culture across the organization by defining best practices for design, measurement, and scaling. Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data science or product analytics roles, ideally within high-scale consumer or marketplace products. Advanced proficiency in
SQL
and
Python . Strong foundation in statistics and experimental design. Proven experience designing, running, and analyzing large-scale experiments. Ability to analyze and reason about machine learning models, their trade-offs, and business impact. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving ability with experience structuring ambiguous problems into actionable insights.
