Overview

A dynamic law firm is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Trust and Estate Litigation Paralegal to support their growing litigation practice. In this role, you’ll work closely with a small team of attorneys, managing complex trust, estate, and elder law litigation cases from inception through trial. You’ll be responsible for calendaring, case organization, document drafting, e-filing, trial prep, and more. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, culture-driven environment. They are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the nuances of probate litigation, and wants to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking legal team. $45.00/hr - $60.00/hr Responsibilities

Manage active litigation cases from start to finish, including pre-litigation setup and post-trial wrap-up Maintain and organize case files and Case Management Workbooks Draft, edit, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery Prepare exhibits, trial binders, deposition summaries, and assist with mediation and trial logistics File documents electronically and physically, including e-filing in California courts Calendar and track case deadlines and court appearances Act as a communication hub between attorneys, clients, and internal team members Conduct legal research, cite-checking, and assist with special projects Lead internal case check-ins and ensure regular client communication including monthly status letters Mentor and support junior paralegals and legal assistants Qualifications

5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with at least 3 years in trust and estate litigation Proven track record supporting 25+ depositions and at least 3 trials Mastery of California Probate Code, CRC, and CCP Paralegal Certificate or BMP-qualified under CA Business & Professions Code Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro Strong Microsoft Office skills Experience with legal case management systems such as Clio, MyCase, or similar Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills Self-starter with strong time management skills Familiarity with Trial Director, ClickUp, or Asana is a plus Experience in probate administration is preferred Benefits
