Category and Calendar Strategy
Define and lead global product marketing for assigned category.
Develop category and product strategy that drives business forward and reinforces brand equity.
Partner with Product Development, Global Consumer Marketing, Global Beauty, and Consumer Insights to inform innovation strategy and product launch cadence.
Monitor franchise performance in the global marketplace and recommend ongoing optimizations.
Support VP on creating the long-term new innovation plan and strategy to ensure plans are sold in, sufficient, within cost of goods targets and meet LRP.
Product Launch Management
Manage the end-to-end product strategy for all new launches (insights, pricing, positioning, formula direction, packaging design, artwork) partnering with cross functional teams to ensure comprehensive and on-time 360 launch.
Lead development of new product launch concept and program briefs and lead relevant meetings to drive the launches forward.
Be the expert on and provide industry, competitive and internal analysis to drive projects forward.
Drive the copy alignment process, including messaging hierarchy and copy briefs.
Own forecast process, including sizing of opportunity and partnering with Global Business Planning.
Ensure the feasibility and profitability of projects.
Work with regions to align on product calendar elements and forecast.
Participate in new product testing across categories and provide meaningful usage feedback.
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to drive timelines and complete projects.
Prepare materials for presentation of marketing plans to all affiliates and retailers when applicable.
Assess project performance based on market feedback and business results.
Identify ways to refresh products and maintain competitive edge.
Own the annual SKU rationalization / Line Edit process, creating recommendations to strengthen our overall portfolio including discontinuations, gaps and opportunities.
Lead the bi-annual corporate innovation summary (BIT) for assigned categories.
Direct and support overall business initiatives and strategic planning including pricing analysis, sampling strategy, etc.
Support annual Global product Innovation Strategy and Brand Strategy presentations.
Leadership
Provide leadership, motivation, and ongoing coaching for an Assistant Manager and Associate on your team to cultivate a successful and effective product marketing team.
Drives change, helping to implement New Product Launch processes.
A true team player that is able to strategically influence and happily work within a matrixed organization with multiple cross functional partners.

8+ Years' Experience in beauty marketing.

Pay Range The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,550.00 to $208,200.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
