Part Time • British Swim School- Northern Baltimore Parents say British Swim School is the nation’s leading swim school, and as we expand our life-saving program we’re looking for fun-loving, service-minded individuals to join our award-winning team. The position is with our Customer Experience team, known as Deck Ambassadors. This is a crucial poolside role that manages the first impression and maintains warm relationships with families and students throughout their time with us. Responsibilities

Warmly welcome new families and help them get started by getting to know the students and their parents. Set up the pool deck area before each shift. Register students for class and manage their movement in and out of the water between classes. Manage and celebrate the move-up/graduation process, birthdays, and other milestones at the pool. Post photos and videos to social media in a fun and personal way. Assist parents with questions about schedules and their children’s progress. Promote referrals for new enrollments. Support the aquatics team by actively participating in swimmer safety and assisting when needed during lessons. Test water quality and temperature to ensure a safe environment. Qualifications

An enthusiastic, warm, and assertive personality that enjoys talking to people and building positive relationships. Understanding of the importance of following a structured approach and enforcing essential safety procedures and policies in a fun, gentle manner. Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude. Genuine desire to help reduce drowning risk for children and adults. What to expect

Our programs primarily serve preschool and elementary-aged children. Instructors should enjoy working with this age group and help parents feel comfortable. Prior experience with children is helpful but not required if the right attitude is demonstrated. The job includes specialized training in the British Swim School approach. We also have opportunities with our Customer Service Team for roles that do not involve direct pool instruction. These positions focus on providing excellent service to parents and maintaining a welcoming environment that supports the Survival of the Littlest.
