Overview
Product Manager II, Ads Safety, Honest Ads at Google. This role focuses on guiding products from conception to launch, working cross-functionally to connect technical and business perspectives, and driving improvements to protect the integrity of the Ads ecosystem. Google’s Honest Ads team seeks savvy, empathetic, and creative product management professionals who can motivate cross-functional teams and rethink the DNA of the Ads product to make it more resilient to adversarial behavior. Location
Google base locations include Mountain View, CA, USA; New York, NY, USA; Waterloo, ON, Canada, and other eligible locations. Responsibilities
Support new products, ad formats, and policy launches to de-risk the ads ecosystem. Conceive and launch scalable enforcement mechanisms, guiding them from concept to test to production. Collaborate with Trust and Safety, Business, Legal, and other teams to investigate and address new abuse trends. Explore innovative techniques to increase automation and precision of protections. Be a spokesperson and ambassador for the team, both internally and externally. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Preferred qualifications
2 years of experience working cross-functionally with product development, UX/UI, finance, and other stakeholders. Experience in digital advertising, abuse and fraud prevention, risk management, privacy, integrity or cybersecurity, or management consulting. Experience incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies and ongoing interest in accessibility best practices. Compensation and benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges vary by role, level, and location.
