Design for Short Films & Dramas
Design posters, one-sheets, pitch decks, and digital key art to market original short films and romantic dramas. Build visual identities for each title, including logos, typography, and graphic motifs aligned with narrative themes. Collaborate with directors, producers, and editors to create promotional stills, thumbnails, and visuals that reflect storylines and characters. Design visual treatments for trailers, teasers, and episodic campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and streaming platforms.
Design for Games
Create marketing layouts and advertisements for new game launches, including Steam banners, splash pages, in-game event visuals, and social campaigns. Design storefront visuals, DLC key art, event posters, and community-focused assets (memes, GIFs, promo reels). Ensure stylistic consistency between in-game branding and out-of-game campaigns. Collaborate with game developers and marketing producers to align visuals with gameplay mechanics and story themes.
Advertising & Layouts
Produce digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, Reddit, Discord promotions) with attention to picture layout, typography, and composition. Develop branded templates and layouts for recurring campaigns, newsletters, and community updates. Create immersive campaign design kits for short films and games to ensure brand cohesion across platforms.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with the U.S. and China marketing/creative teams to adapt designs for global audiences while respecting cultural and stylistic differences. Partner with the creative and production teams to design assets based on scripts, storyboards, or gameplay footage. Provide design direction for photo shoots, promotional stills, and merch concepts. Work with external vendors, printers, and media partners to finalize campaign-quality assets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field. 4+ years of experience in graphic design for film, games, or entertainment marketing. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and 3D tools (Blender, Cinema4D, or Maya). Strong portfolio demonstrating layouts for game campaigns, film posters, digital ads, and short-form video branding. Ability to design cinematic visuals and interactive marketing assets that resonate with both gamers and film audiences. Understanding of gaming culture, fan communities, and social-first content creation. Familiarity with #booktok, #bookstagram, and gaming subcultures is a plus.
