As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of the site—supporting leasing, resident engagement, and team coordination while building the skills and experience to grow into a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving, and brings a service-first mindset to every interaction.
What You'll Do
As the Assistant Property Manager, you will:
Support Daily Site Operations: Assist with resident communications, leasing tasks, maintenance coordination, and vendor management.
Lead Leasing Efforts: Guide prospective residents through the application process, conduct showings, and support renewal and occupancy goals.
Serve as a Resident Liaison: Help build a positive resident community through timely service, communication, and problem-solving.
Support Property Manager & Maintenance Teams: Ensure smooth operations by coordinating work orders, supplies, scheduling, and documentation.
Manage Administrative Tasks: Maintain digital records, process rent payments and notices, and assist with monthly reporting.
Ensure Compliance & Standards: Help uphold Fair Housing laws, company policies, and property standards.
Travel as needed. Support operations within the portfolio with occasional travel to other properties.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ year of experience in property management, leasing, or relevant customer service role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, or similar)
Basic understanding of Fair Housing regulations
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Bonus Points If You Have:
Associate's degree or Higher
WA State property management certification or license
Bilingual (Spanish or other language)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools (Google Drive, Slack, etc.)

Compensation & Perks
Salary Range: $70,000-75,000 + Bonus | Full-Time
