6-Month Contract Are you detail-oriented with a strong background in quality testing, sampling, and FDA/ISO compliance ? Join a leading manufacturing team in Somerset, NJ, as a Quality Control Scientist , where you'll play a vital role in maintaining quality standards across finished goods, packaging components, and production operations.
What You'll Do Sample, test, and inspect finished goods, packaging components, and bulk batches following DGO methods/specs Record test results in SAP , issue NCMRs as needed Write SMI books for new product launches Maintain and store retain and APR samples Troubleshoot production line quality issues and assist operators with defect resolution Conduct SCOOP audits and collaborate on corrective actions Ensure accurate documentation of quality systems Maintain calibrated lab equipment and follow plant safety protocols Coordinate testing priorities with production and logistics teams
What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent manufacturing experience) Experience with FDA and ISO compliance (SOPs, audits, documentation) Skilled in sampling and testing of packaging, bulk, and finished goods Understanding of nonconformance processes Proficient in Excel and Word Ability to pass color and odor testing
