Description
Reviewing and verifying constructability of the plans and specifications.
Creating and enforcing a construction schedule that is tracked and updated daily with a constant monthly look ahead to ensure timely completion of the project.
Initial project estimates and bidding and qualifying subcontractors
Preparing scopes of work and recommending subcontractors to be selected for contracting on the construction of the project. Sending out invitations to bid and managing the bidding process.
Negotiating scopes of work and final contract amounts, preparing, estimating and verifying change order requests
Responding to RFI's or submittals and responding to subcontractor or consultants project related questions.
Directing and managing each of the Superintendents and Project Engineers to maintain the performance of subcontractors and consultants on-site.
Implementation of strict construction safety practices
Verify compliance with the plans and specifications, hosting weekly and monthly jobsite meetings as well as managing and conducting other duties necessary for the successful completion of the projects.
Review monthly subcontractor invoices
Attend monthly budget draw meetings, and cost to complete
Responsible for the direction and performance of consulting, design or construction management services for assigned project(s) of a nature greater in scope, valuation and complexity and with larger teams than those generally managed by the Project Manager
Client relationship management, including creating a positive experience that will lead to future work

Mission Critical Manager
qualifications:
Ground-Up Data / Mission Critical / Healthcare construction experience is required for this role
15+ years of Construction experience with over 10 as a Project Manager
Knowledge of and ability to manage all 16 divisions of the construction process with an emphasis across the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing sectors
Technical Savvy individual - Procore experience is a huge plus
Strong Reputation for working well with Subcontractors
Ability to create strong relationships with clients
Ability to predict and overcome project challenges
Must be ok with 100% Travel

Base salary: $160,000 starting + great benefits (Package is negotiable subject to experience)
