Full-Time Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Position Summary: Property Management Company seeks full time maintenance technician for apartment communities surrounding Pearisburg, VA. We are looking for someone who has exceptional handyman skills with some knowledge in light carpentry, electrical, plumbing and tile/vinyl flooring etc. Responsibilities Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks such as changing furnace filters, fixing clogged sinks or toilets. Replacement of stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves. Painting and drywall repairs Furniture assembly, hanging curtain rods and replacing window blinds Completes a rotation on call for the Emergency Call Service Additional responsibilities presented upon application Required Skills Must have a knowledge, skill and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance tasks. High School degree or GED plus 5 years maintenance experience.
