Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor Shift available: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm National Management Resources has provided facilities management services for over 40 years. We work in educational settings, including K-12 facilities, boarding schools, colleges, and universities all over the country. We offer competitive wages. We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise maintenance technicians in repairs and maintenance of campus facilities to provide a safe and functional environment. Maintenance Supervisor Benefits: Year-round work Work independently throughout the day Paid time off Paid holidays Health, dental & vision insurance 401K Short-term disability Weekend work available Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities: Directs staff in daily maintenance of campus properties by setting schedules, evaluating processes, and determining priorities. Hires, supervises, reviews, and trains maintenance technicians, trains staff on usage of equipment, and proper safety techniques. Assesses the need to contract higher skilled crafts persons to effectively complete projects. Maintains reports and records pertaining to maintenance, personnel actions, invoices, and purchasing transactions. Ensures employees receive appropriate safety training & facilitates safety inspections Repairs and maintains buildings. Completes set-ups and tear downs for scheduled campus activities. Performs general maintenance using basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring. Operates and maintains tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities. Conducts HVAC inspections and change filters as needed. Performs on call duties as needed/assigned. Ensures environment is safe and working properly. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications: Have a valid driver's license Lift up to 50 pounds Work from ladders Climb stairs Stand or walk for long periods of time. Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures. Minimum Work Experience: · 3 years' experience in general maintenance · 3 years' experience in one or more building trades · 1 year experience in supervisory role Passing a Drug Screening and Background Check is required for employment.
