Warehouse Order Picker

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Order Picker who can operate Forklift or similar equipment to pick the order in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and distribution of goods. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Duties Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks, to move materials within the warehouse. Load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers efficiently. Utilize a warehouse management system for tracking inventory and order picking. Perform regular inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow efficiency. Experience Previous experience in order picking or in materials handling within a distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge of forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus. Experience with order picking processes and techniques is desirable. Ability to operate cranes or other heavy machinery is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential.
