We are seeking a seasoned
Project Engineer
with expertise in
medium voltage power distribution system design
to lead engineering efforts across industrial and utility-scale projects. This role spans design, vendor coordination, FEED studies, and on-site support through construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Design MV systems: cable/transformer sizing, MCC/switchgear specs, BOM development.
Validate vendor drawings; coordinate civil scope as needed.
Apply NEC/IEEE standards; AutoCAD experience a plus.
Support field activities: construction, startup, commissioning.
Ideally HV experience: transformer protection, HV-to-MV tie-ins.
Lead FEED studies: one-line diagrams, plot plans, narratives, and preliminary specs.
Travel to North American project sites up to 30%
(around 50% of those site visits are usually within Texas)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years
of relevant experience.
PE license preferred (any state).
Strong technical and communication skills.
