Security Guard

Security Guard Location: Kawasaki Rail Car Inc Schedule: Saturday & Sunday Status: Part-time Shift: 3pm-11pm This position is under the direct supervision of the supervisor on duty and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors. Security Guard Job Description: · Performs security patrols. · Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures. · Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. · Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures. · Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; obtaining signatures. · Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls. · Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Security Officer Skills and Qualifications: Lifting, Surveillance Skills, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 18 years of age.
