NSP
SUMMARY:
Assigned under the general supervision of the VP of Finance is responsible for conducting the transactions to process invoices for payment and provide accounting support to the finance department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data entry of approved AR receipts
Submit claims for short payments and/or lost product
Submit sales invoices and BOL's to customers for payment processing
Scanning and electronic upload of customer sales orders
Data entry of approved AP invoices
Scanning and electronic upload AP invoices to computer system
Update costing sheets for AP invoices
Verification of 3rd Party Storage facilities invoices to inventory/receipts
File AP invoices
Weekly list of outstanding AP invoices
Pull and process approved AP invoices for CD
Scanning and electronic upload of payments and checks
Sort and stuff checks for mailing
ACH set up of vendors for online bank payments
Weekly reconciliation of perpetual protein to 3rd party Storage inventory
Input orders into computer system& conform back to customer
Produce product release for customer orders from 3rd party storage facilities.
Generate BOL's for product shipping from plant
Book trucks once leads approved to ship
Manage delivery & pick up appointments with carrier
Coordinate delivery & pick up appointments with customers
Sort and stuff checks for mailing
Review of daily timecards and hours report for costing and Agency
Pick up and sort mail - 2 x per week
Entre data for KPI tracking
Downtime tracking
Input data for daily attainment reporting
Check in trucks and 3rd party cold storage facility
American Express tracking
Centurian pallet tracking
Federal Express labels and tracking
Customer attainment shortages with explanations
Weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reporting
Weekly score card reporting
Support accounting department and team to include office work along with phones
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalence Certificate
Minimum of 3-5 years experience
Language Skills: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. CONTACTS: Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve all issues or problems which require resourcefulness, tact and discretion. Applies broad knowledge of products and services when communicating with individuals outside the immediate work area/department. MATHEMATICAL/FINANCIAL SKILLS: Responsible for expediting receipt of purchased materials equipment or services involving the possibility of financial loss through errors. Works with significant deadlines that can result in a disruption to projects, service or products that impact operational cost and/or revenue. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply disciplined knowledge to analyze and resolve problems.
