Position Overview
The Showroom Support Associate plays a key role in creating an outstanding client experience by maintaining the showroom's presentation, assisting sales staff, and providing support to design professionals. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for textiles, design, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist designers, architects, and clients visiting the showroom.
Provide product knowledge, fabric samples, and support in selecting materials.
Maintain showroom appearance, ensuring displays and sample libraries are organized, stocked, and visually appealing.
Process memos, orders, and returns accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate shipments and deliveries of fabric samples and orders.
Support the sales team with administrative tasks, data entry, and client follow-up.
Assist with showroom events, presentations, and trade functions as needed.
Act as a liaison between clients and sales representatives to ensure exceptional service.
Qualifications
Prior showroom, retail, or design industry experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer proficiency
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for textiles, interior design, or related fields is a plus.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position located in the Merchandise Mart. The role involves standing, walking, and light lifting
