HVAC Service Technician
to keep our customers comfortable year-round.
Base pay + commission = more earning potential
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Respond to all levels of residential HVAC service calls.
Dispatch to customer sites and maintain high-quality customer service and care.
Communicate effectively with customer to describe options and costs, obtain approval, and move forward with repairs. Document all services, understand and communicate guarantees, collect fees.
Perform diagnoses and troubleshooting of systems.
Perform best practices in silver solder braising, flaring, swaging, etc. of refrigeration line sets.
Ensure that all repairs and installations are accurate, serviceable, and meet safety and regulatory standards and codes.
Perform preventive maintenance on systems.
Remove and replace (install) residential HVAC system as needed.
Manage resources through accounting of all equipment, material, tools and parts for specific jobs and company van.
Survey and assess residences for potential new projects, installations, and retrofits.
Draft equipment, material and scope of work documentation.
Promote service/preventative maintenance agreements and financing of service costs and new systems.
Complete ongoing technical and factory training, in-house and outsourced.

Experience, Education
EPA, NATE or other equivalent HVAC certificates a plus
2+ years of HVAC service (diagnostic and troubleshooting) related experience or combined years of professional residential field work and HVAC service training, repairs, or installations.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Customer focused and able to present in a positive manner, effectively solving customers' problems.
Recognize and encourage behavior that promotes teamwork.
Flexibility to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime.

Pay Transparency
The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
