Mechanical Engineer – Nuclear Energy
A Next Generation Nuclear Energy Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the design and optimization of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems for advanced reactor projects. This position offers the chance to work at the forefront of next-generation energy solutions, ensuring safe, efficient, and standards-compliant system performance.
What You'll Do:
Design and develop BOP systems including piping, pumps, heat exchangers, and auxiliary equipment.
Perform hydraulic, thermal, and mechanical analyses.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on system integration.
Support technical documentation, design reviews, and risk assessments.
Contribute throughout procurement, construction, commissioning, and testing.
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc or MSc).
5+ years' experience in BOP system design within energy, nuclear, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of piping design, fluid mechanics, and ASME/ANSI codes.
Skilled in engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS).
PE license or progress toward licensure a plus.
