1 Job Summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Healthcare Architect to join our growing Healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading the technical development of medium to large scale healthcare projects. This position also includes opportunities to work on other project types such as higher education, R&D, civic, and municipal. Note:

Experience with healthcare facility design, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and medical office buildings, is highly preferred. Familiarity with FGI Guidelines, ADA, and healthcare-specific codes is a strong plus. Primary Functions Assist the Project Manager in developing project work plans and schedules. Collaborate with the design team during programming and conceptual phases. Lead the technical team in preparing design development and construction documents for healthcare facilities. Coordinate with in-house engineers and outside consultants. Develop architectural technical specifications focusing on healthcare systems, materials, and infection control standards. Lead construction administration efforts including observation, RFI, and submittal review. Serve as project manager on small to medium projects if required. Assist with departmental duties such as updating technical standards and mentoring junior staff.

Desired Skills/Experience

10-15 years of experience preferred. Licensure preferred. Experience with Revit. Knowledge of AutoCAD and BSD Spec Link is a bonus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible. Ability to work well under demanding deadlines. Experience coordinating with healthcare consultants is prioritized.
