Information Technology Job Description
Our team has a need for a Senior Cloud Administrator to lead the buildout and testing of a hybrid cloud environment utilizing the Navy Flank Speed Environment. Primary responsibilities include: Advice on best practices for the implementation of Cloud components, tools, dashboards, and automation Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other Azure resources Configure and monitor Azure security features such as firewalls, network security groups, and Azure Active Directory Act as the SME for Azure services configuration Work with development teams to ensure proper application deployment and scaling in Azure Assist other SMEs in the preparation of Installation guides for an enterprise environment Provide input into the migration project schedule Job Requirements
Ability to manage Azure subscriptions and resources, implement and manage storage, deploy, and manage virtual machines, PaaS services, configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities IT experience (8 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in the job description Experience in creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides Experience working in a Hybrid Cloud environment preferred Experience with Navy Flank Speed Environment preferred Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M Must have or be able to get within 2 weeks of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or significant experience in lieu of, with the ability to obtain within first 2 weeks of employment Security Clearance
