A day in the life As a Senior Solutions Architect on the MMA Enterprise Architecture Team, you will lead collaboration with Technology and Business partners to design and communicate innovative solutions utilizing packaged solutions, cloud services, and custom development. You will generate and provide critical feedback on Architecture Documents, presenting them to the Architecture Review Board. You will review, adopt, and promote architectural standards and best practices to ensure consistency and security across domains such as enterprise applications, web applications, microservices, and application containerization. You will mentor and empower teams and play a key role in guiding other architects, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with architectural standards. You will stay updated with the latest technologies and share your expertise across teams, evaluating vendor products. Your role is pivotal in driving technology solutions that align with and advance business objectives. Lead collaboration with Technology and Business partners to design and communicate innovative solutions using packaged solutions, cloud services, and custom development. Generate and provide critical feedback on Architecture Documents and present them to the Architecture Review Board. Review, adopt, and promote architectural standards and best practices to ensure consistency and security across enterprise applications, web applications, microservices, and containerization. Mentor and empower teams and other architects, guiding professional growth and ensuring alignment with architectural standards. Stay current with technologies, share expertise across teams, and evaluate vendor products. Drive technology solutions that align with and advance business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in technology solutions. Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to design solutions and communicate them through standard methods (logical component diagrams, integration diagrams, deployment diagrams). Ability to evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to address business problems and project requirements. Knowledge and experience of all phases of the SDLC with traditional waterfall, iterative, and modern agile methodologies. Experience communicating with business and technical stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Experience in developing software solutions using stacks including Node.js, Angular, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, JSON, and REST web services. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models. Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure automation) to enable efficient deployment and management. Understanding of security principles, data protection, and compliance requirements to design secure solutions. Hands-on experience identifying and resolving complex technical issues and guiding technical teams in troubleshooting. Proven track record of leading architectural reviews and providing constructive feedback to align with enterprise standards. Ability to drive strategic initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation. Additional qualifications

These are a plus but not required: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Insurance or Finance industry knowledge. TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Certification. The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
