Position Title: Senior Application Support Developer Location: Remote Contract Duration: 9/1/2025 12/31/2026 Positions Available: 2 Hours: MonFri, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Occasional after-hours/weekends) Role Overview
This role supports the modernization of a legacy system. The contractor will maintain legacy systems and contribute to new system development. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot legacy Natural code. Develop new features aligned with the future-state system. Perform data cleanup and migration scripting (SQL, Natural). Support data migration testing and validation. Act as a subject matter expert in technical meetings and planning sessions. Required Skills & Experience
Technical:
2+ years Natural programming 5+ years Visual Basic 6 5+ years SQL .NET (C#, ASP.NET) Experience with legacy systems, data integration, batch processing Familiarity with source control (Git, SVN, TFS) Child Welfare Systems:
Experience with SACWIS, MACWIS, or CCWIS Understanding of child welfare processes (case management, licensing, etc.) Professional:
Strong documentation and collaboration skills Experience in fast-paced production environments Leadership or mentoring experience Soft Skills:
Analytical and problem-solving mindset Strong communication skills Self-motivated and team-oriented Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with child welfare modernization Knowledge of CCWIS compliance Experience with ADABAS Contact
